I found a new Africa organization it’s really cool it completely beats red and everything well it’s this organization called Zombo. If you donate a dollar a month it gives six kids a place to live for 3 months it’s really slammin you should check out the site. www.zombo.com i really hope you get involved

Wow L.A. was probably the coolest thing of the entire summer
I saw so many hurt people who were revealed to the love of Jesus through kids it was awesome.
So I guess now you guys are expecting some awesome story about how I talked to someone and they got saved but honestly I have nothing.
So many people have said man you gotta tell me some stories but honestly I have none.
This being my first mission trip was an experience like no other. I saw things that I really was not expecting at all.
I saw people lighting, slinging, and doing crack. I stepped over a few syringes that people had probably just got done shooting heroine with. I saw hurt people looking for pleasure in things that belong to the world that only satisfy them temporarily instead of for eternally like the love of Jesus. I got cussed at and persecuted by homeless people who thought that I thought I was better than them and that’s why I was handing out cookies and water and prayers to them. I saw girls giving themselves away because they thought they were no good. and I also saw people accept prayer, and Jesus. I saw people grateful for the blessing and wanted to get back on their feet.
So I may not have some slammin story about how little billy got saved because I shared the love of Jesus. But now I can walk into school ready for whatever comes my way because I’ve been through it now and I know how it feels and I’ve seen way beyond what I’d see in a school hallway. So even though I have no stories and nothing cool. God did prepare me for what’s coming this year and now I can be ready.

Well Well Well
Since the last time I posted I’ve had some crazy stuff happen. I’ve written about a dozen new poems and I’m not gonna type them because I like reading them to people instead of you reading it because I can put the rhythm I have for it and some of the pieces have different emotions but yeah.
Well Camp was freaking awesome like I couldn’t even explain how much I got out of it I’ve been so much closer to Christ ever since. I really don’t have any crazy stories or anything just an experience like that words can’t come to explain. So there isn’t much I can say
I did happen to get corn rolls which were pretty tight.
Also Tori Ohlerking and I accomplished to show the Invisible Children movie at camp and 20 people showed up which was awesome because these people gave up there beach time and free time to come watch this movie so I was so excited.
and this here is my favorite The wonderful Tori O. and I are now planning a trip to Africa either Mozambique or Zimbabwe for next summer and I am so flipping excited. It’s gonna be an experience like no other. We’re gonna do all sorts of Justice projects and fund raisers and all sorts of stuff.
well so much has happened but it’s nothing words can describe I’m gonna try my hardest to blog more often.

What a summer
Well this is going to be a fairly long post so for those of you who hate reading can quit about NOW. OK you’ve made it this far now I’m going to tell you everything that’s happened recently.
First off I want to thank everybody who’s giving me prayer or money towards LA I need $210 left and I’m good to go (so I mean if you wanna hook a brotha up that’s cool too lol) but you guys have no clue how much it means to me that you would give me your time and money (things that are very valuable to society now) so that I could go lead some people to Jesus in LA THANK YOU. I LOVE YOU.
Secondly I’ve managed to write some poetry this week and I must say God is a pretty good poet. So now I’m going to let you read them. This first one My boy Paul Musso helped me write.
You see it all starts with this thought in your brain,
That if you try to change the world people think your insane.
But you ain’t gotta worry bout what people say,
Cause if you reppin God everything is OK.
Yeah people gonna say you whacked up, jacked up, tell you shut up
but don’t give up, instead raise him up.
Because you see people they’ll notice the difference, they’ll notice the change
And then all of them they’ll proclaim his name.
and now this one I wrote the other day (It’s my favorite as well)
You see god doesn’t care about your little reputation
He cares way more about where’s your destination
He doesn’t care about money or fame
He wants to know how many times did you spread his name
Did you reach out to that person show them some love
Or did you pass on by giving a shrug
God wants you to make good choices and to live well
He wants to make sure we don’t end up in Hell.
We’re one of God’s children we’re part of his name
Now go change the world and don’t be ashamed.
Yeah tell me those aren’t tight I’m pretty impressed personally but yeah that’s that.
Finally today I was reading my cell bible. (I got the entire bible on my phone its pretty gangsta) and I read Romans 1:6 it was pretty cool so I started to read 1-6 and it kind of gave me like a five point sermon. Not literally but you get what I mean so I’m gonna share those with you.
Romans 1:1-2 says ” “From Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle and appointed to spread the Good News of God.”(God had already promised this Good News through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures)”
I thought this was pretty cool because us as Christians cry out for our calling like I want to be a youth pastor when I grow up and I pray about it often asking God just let me be a youth pastor. I don’t know why I pray that I know it’s promised and God’s will is going to happen anyway but that was just a cool little thing to think about.
Romans 1:3-4 ” “This Good News is about his Son, our Lord Jesus Christ. In his human nature he was a descendant of David. In His spiritual, holy nature he was declared the Son of God. This was shown in a powerful way when he came back to life.”
I love this because In my human nature I’m a descendant of the Barry family and only Barry’s are in that. But spiritually we are all Descendants of Christ. This made me think about a movie I watched yesterday called American History X (I don’t advise anyone to watch it, it’s pretty gross) But it’s about these skinheads and the main one goes to jail and changes and starts to accept other races besides white people and it’s a pretty weird movie with a good story line. But I thought about how they actually have people who hate other Races. It’s real it happens. but if we’re all descendants of Christ that makes us all the same nobody’s higher than the other because we all come form the same spiritual family.
Romans 1:5-6 “Through him we have received God’s kindness and the privilege of being apostles who bring people from every nation to the obedience that is associated with faith. This if for the honor of his name. You are among those who have been called to belong to Jesus Christ.”
This is just flat out awesome I love verse 6 “you are among those who have been called to belong to Jesus Christ” How awesome is that there is a limit to people who are going to be saved (well not a limit but it says in the Bible not everyone will be saved) but the fact that God chose us. I mean that’s like something everybody wants is to be chosen. Chosen for that team, that job, that group anything we want to be chosen and God chose us. He loves us and it’s so cool to think about all that he did and all we can do.

It’s been a while
Well I have had a lot of request(more like demands) to update my blog so I’m going to throw two weeks of information in this blog.
So throughout these two weeks I’ve managed to Get in a car wreck, cut a slice out of my finger get stung by a wasp all sorts of crazy stuff. But out of all of it I realized something you have no clue what is going to happen to you and when it’s going to happen. So why not go live everyday like it’s you’re last day just in case ya know. But it was one of those random thoughts.
Well I also noticed something else today during the twelve o’ clock service today all the 40 something summer session kids sat through service and it made me think about how I use to sit there and be one of those kids. I thought if there was one piece of advice what would I tell them. and I thought about it and I figured it out I would tell them they are sitting there in that service to convict and compel. They need to walk in there and out worship, take the best notes, be the best people they can be. They are a generation with a HUGE influence. Adults see them and they think if a teen is out worshiping me I need to worship better. If a teen is taking better notes than I am, i need to take better ones. That’s just how adults think. So if anybody in summer session reads this you have the hugest influence in the church so do what you do the best you possibly can pursue everything with excellence.

This morning I went to Early Morning prayer at the annex. I got like this big revelation SOOOO I’m gonna blog about it.
So I first got there and I was ready to go to sleep because it was still the butt crack of dawn. But I decided to go pray. So I did and God told me to go look up Jeremiah 3:19 so I did and it says this.
“I thought to myself, “I would love to treat you as my own children!” I wanted nothing more than to give you this beautiful land-the finest inheritance in the world. I looked forward to you calling me “Father” and I thought you would never turn away from me again”
If you want a verse that convicts and compels that’s it right there. To think God actually looked forward to us Crying out to him, to us saying we love him, to us saying we belong to him and he gives us so much trust and we take advantage of it every time.
This verse when I read it I was like *ouch* it just convicts you and then compels you to basically give God what he wants to never turn away from him again.
Well after that little thing there I was looking around and I saw a advertisement sign on the wall for Pastor Dino’s book “Turning Points” and at the bottom it said really big “AVAILABLE NOW” and I thought about how you go to Wal-Mart and you see the movies, Cd’s, Toys, Gadgets, just about anything is “Available Now” and I thought when Jesus died on the cross God put a big sign on himself that said “AVAILABLE NOW” and it’s never gonna out date, expire, be replaced, nothing, it’s going to stay the same then, now, and forever.
Finally I thought how we’re are so quick to tell people about the new pants, shoes, shirts, glasses, belt, or anything we got because we think it’s pretty cool. I know I do that I’ll be like hey check out what I got and how good of a deal I got on it. but for some reason us as humans we hesitate to tell people about the Love we got for free from Jesus. It’s the best deal in the world it’s not 20, 50, or 75% off it’s free. No hidden fee’s, No Monthly Interest, NOTHING. We get basically a wonderful awesome crib in heaven that beats any of 50 Cent, P-Diddy, or Lil Jon’s $500 million dollar houses. Because you know what they may have all this valuable stuff but the possessions the love, the power we get through Christ is priceless and nothing will ever change that. SO that’s what I got today so I’m gonna go help My Hero “Tyler Tullos” do whatever he needs me to do. So yeah PEACE

Summer Time
It’s officially summer time and its been fun for the 3 days I’ve been out. Out of these days I’ve accomplished three things
1.) seeing Pirates 3
2.) Getting a Tan on my stomach and feet (what what)
and now my most personal favorite
3.) Me and Ariel are dating again.
So now if you ask her and she says no you know she’s lying. SOOOOOO. but yeah summers been pretty fun.
Well throughout these three days I’ve had a revelation (I’m not gonna say where I got it because it’s kind of personal *Cough bathroom cough* but I was thinking about it and I was like how did we just pick up going and sitting on the toilet when we need to go. And I thought about it and we learned from three things.
1.) We watched our parents do it (which is really weird but hey we all did)
2.) All of our friends were starting so we wanted to as well.
3.) Experienced people taught us
I thought about how I became a christian at that point and it’s very similar to how you become potty trained. Me I saw a change in my mom she would be all “Tyler I think youshould go to amplified” and I was like ” Yeah I’d rather not” but now I’m the kid saying If you don’t go you’ll get sucker punched in the jugular. Then all of my friends were like dude you got to go to pathfinders and finally a girlfriend of mine got me to go and I got a smack down there. Finally experienced people such as Tyler Tullos, Byrd, TweezeCrystal Taught and are teaching me how to be everything God wants me to be and to live up to my full potential now I know that has almost nothing to do with being potty trained but being potty trained is very important in life and so is knowing your calling and living the life God intended.
I know at this point you’re probably like is this kid smoking pot or popping ecstasy or something but it makes sense to me and yes this post is a little disturbing but hey everybody does it ya know. Besides this just shows that I fell that I can be open and honest on hear so yeah.
Well I’m gonna go I’m going to an all day memorial day party tomorrow and I’m excited

Well it’s official I am no longer a freshmen. Whic…
Well it’s official I am no longer a freshmen. Which is awesome now. But yeah today was our last day of school and uprising for the year and when I say today’s prayer group was awesome I mean it was awesome.
First Tyler Tullos spoke about looking back at our summer and asking ourselves if we’re satisfied with what we did and it was really good. Than we prayed and everybody prayed new people to which was totally out of the ordinary. Anyways the Bell rang and we kept on praying and it was awesome.
Later on through the school day I thought about what Tyler said and I thought about it and I asked myself am I satisfied with what I did this year. I mean yeah I started a Prayer Group and showed the Invisible Children Movie a few times. But did I give those things my all. I really don’t feel like I did. So next year things are gonna be alot better.
Anyways last night at Refuge Chad Daniels brought it like a mug. Before he started speaking I felt like God was telling me “Don’t settle for what you have” I thought abouts o next year that’s going to be my goal. If I got 10 kids coming to the Uprising I’ll make it 20 if we got 20 than 40 if 40 than 80. And it was just crazy.
When I thought about that I thought about something that I’ve probably heard from somewhere but I’m not sure where. Anyways it was Our God is so amazing he takes our things and multiplies them. He doesn’t add them but multiply. think about it if you do 3+3+3 it equals 9. But if you do 3×3x3 it equals 27. God takes our fruit and multiplies it and that was just something really cool to think about.
